Edwin B. Esmenda is a 20-year Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Esmenda served as an Infantry Staff Sergeant with special duties as an Instructor, Recruiter, and Drill Sergeant. Mr. Esmenda deployed overseas to Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti in 1994, to Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq in 2006, and to Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2010. Mr. Esmenda retired from the United States Army in 2014.
Mr. Esmenda is from Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Esmenda received a B.A., M.P.A., and J.D. from Northern Illinois University. Mr. Esmenda was the State Judge Advocate, Department of Illinois, Veterans of Foreign Wars from 2019-2020. Mr. Esmenda was the legal intern to the General Counsel, Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs from 2017-2019 and Associate Counsel, Board of Veterans Appeals, where he drafted decisions in appeals for review by a Veterans Law Judge, from 2020-2023.
Mr. Esmenda currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
