Born and raised in Northern California, Jill comes from a strong military family. Her father was a navigator in the Air Force during the Korean War, and her brother is currently an Executive Officer in the Army, 2nd in command after a Battalion Commander.
Ms. Murphy holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Minor in Liberal Studies. She additionally holds a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Sierra Nevada College. After 24 years as an elementary school teacher with the Clark County School District she now enjoys retirement in Henderson, Nevada with her boyfriend and two puppies, Koda and Khloe.
