2025 Veterans Day Event - Knights Of Columbus
The annual Veterans Day celebration was held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Henderson, NV and the US PATRIOT FUND, INC. was invited to attend and assist.
The event is presented by the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus, and organized by Tom Melton.
The meal was graciously donated by Michelle Godoy with Mission BBQ in Henderson and deserts by Smith’s Grocery.
Without their contributions, none of this evening of appreciation would be possible.
Also in attendance were City of Henderson Mayor, Michelle Romero. the honorable Alicia Albritton, the honorable Mark Stevens and brigadeer General (Ret.) Joe Schroedel to celebrate the number of Veterans in attendance which included several from the Boulder City Veterans Home.
That was a great event. I got a chance to see and talk with some of the older Brothers In Arms. The food was wonderful catered by Mission barbecue. I’m looking forward to seeing more brothers and sisters on Veteran’s Day. Thank you Knights of Columbus.
